One of the most famous attractions in Rio de Janeiro, the Bondinho Pão de Açúcar celebrated 110 years in October. Since its creation, it has received approximately 50 million visitors and is the oldest operating cable car in the world.

Located in an important environmental conservation area, between two mountains covered by the Atlantic Forest, the Bondinho Pão de Açúcar Park has an initial stretch that connects Praia Vermelha to Morro da Urca, over an extension of 528 meters, 227 meters high. Another 750 meters separate Morro da Urca from Pão de Açúcar, the highest point being 396 meters above sea level.

The attraction has a new song as a gift, composed by the Bossa Nova icon Roberto Menescal, in partnership with the singer Cris Delanno and Alex Moreira. Called O Bondinho, the song was released during Roberto Menescal and Cris Delanno’s presentation, at the festivities that took place to celebrate the date.
