Graduated in medicine and with a master's degree in Sciences from the University of Pernambuco, Dr Lima is a general surgery resident and researcher in abdominal wall reconstruction in the Department of Surgery, Montefiore Medical Center, in New York. He is also an Assistant professor at the Surgical Sciences Post-graduation program at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil.
