If You Are Going To Brazil This Summer, You Can’t Miss This Beach

Whether you are enjoying the ocean, the fresh breeze coming in, or the beautiful local cliffs, Pipa will provide you with incredible experiences that you will take with you for the rest of your life.

There is a beach destination located approximately 85 km from the city of Natal that almost always makes the lists of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. We are talking about Pipa Beach, which attracts tourists from all over the world.

In order to get there, visitors can take Rota do Sol (Sun Route). Although it is not the shortest route, it is undoubtedly the most scenic. It takes about two and a half hours and tourists can marvel at gorgeous beaches and breathtaking views from local viewpoints along the way.

When they get to Pipa, visitors will find every kind of activity they can think of, from buggy rides to bicycle tours. And how about a kayak adventure? Local activities also include ecological trails, tree climbing, ziplining, and hanggliding. Tourists will be able to marvel at the stunning local beauty from many different angles.

And by the way, the local sunset is a spectacle in itself!

Containing a very good hotel infrastructure, Pipa offers accommodations in all kinds of inns, from modest to incredibly luxurious ones. Tourists should definitely try the local cuisine and, since there are lots of establishments that serve delicious local dishes, they can choose the restaurant they want while they stroll along the charming streets in the village center.

Pipa Beach is in the municipality of Tibau do Sul, but it is not a single beach as the name suggests. It is the entryway to a group of gorgeous beaches scattered along the Rio Grande do Norte coastline. Here are some of them.

• Praia do Amor (Love Beach): This is a traditional surf spot in Pipa due to its rougher sea. There are two ways to get to this incredible beach. At high tide, visitors can take the steps that are carved into the local cliff, but at low tide, visitors can walk along the sand all the way to the beach.

• Praia do Centro (Central Beach): Praia do Centro can be enjoyed whatever the tide conditions are. At low tide, beautiful natural pools are formed on the beach. At high tide, the sand strip gets narrower, but for adventure lovers, that is where the boat rides to Dolphins Bay depart from.

• Baía dos Golfinhos (Dolphins Bay): The beach has calm waters, which makes it an excellent spot to go for a swim as well as for a walk on the sand. Besides, there are regular visits by dolphins that welcome tourists with amazing acrobatics. Visitors to the beach can also have surf lessons, go kayaking, and even rent beach paddleball racquets.

• Madeiro: With cliffs covered in unspoiled native vegetation, the scenery on Madeiro Beach is a true work of art. It is the perfect place to practice water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding.

• Sibaúma: Located south of Pipa, Sibaúma Beach is home to an interesting natural phenomenon that attracts lots of tourists. At low tide, a natural pool is formed between the beach and the coral reef. When the tide rises and the sea breaks through the reef, a temporary waterfall is created until the reef is completely covered by water. It’s just unmissable!

Pipa may seem like it’s just a dream, but it’s right there! It’s time to plan your visit, enjoy its idyllic locations, and have a unique experience.
