In parallel, also at the Javits Center, it took place Curve, a salon for women’s and men’s underwear. The companies Mari M and Plié took their collections to the trade show that receives several American and European buyers. Mari M has already accumulated several participations and it is a constant presence at the event, betting on Curve to expand its market in the United States. Plié is participating for the first time with the support of the Program.

“Brazilian lingerie has many differentials in design, prints and models. There is a lot of potential in the North American market and Curve presents a great opportunity for brands to stand out in the region,” as commented by Lilian.

The Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program (Texbrasil) works alongside companies in the textile and apparel sector developing strategies to conquer the global market. Over 20 years, it has helped around 1600 brands to enter the export market, generating USD 9 billion in business. The Program is carried out through a partnership between Abit and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
