The producers goal for Brasil Summerfest this summer is to create the biggest festival edition to date. The plan is to present over 15 bands from Brazil, films, workshops, talks and a Brazilian themed street fair, creating a truly unique 360 culture & lifestyle experience. But to do this producers created an online fund campaign to raise $10,000. They are offering many perks to help get there, such as capoeira class, music workshop, dining experience, vinyl and t-shirts and a much more.
History
Launched in 2011, Brasil Summerfest (BSF) has grown to be the largest international Brazilian music & arts festival in the world. 
It has presented some of the most exciting artists from Brazil including Seu Jorge, Elza Soares, Marcelo D2, Criolo, Emicida, Lenine and many others. It has been shaping Brazilian contemporary culture in New York and developing BSF as a landmark event in New York’s festival circuit.
Goals
Producers are looking to extend BSF to two weeks filled with exciting music performances, films, workshops, parties, talks and a street fair featuring a variety of vendors.
The goal is to raise $10,000. Half of the funds will go towards helping the artists with their visa expenses, flights and lodging. It is going to be about 40+ musicians flying from Brazil to NYC. The other half of the funds will go towards festival produc-tion and staffing.
