ArtBrazil is an annual multimedia Contemporary Art Fair that promotes and presents visual artist’s work to the American and International public. The opening night this year will be on Thursday, September 14.
The idea behind this 30-day exhibition and artistic encounter is not only to exchange experiences and brain storm between artists from different points of the country and abroad, but also to talk about the Brazilian and Latin diaspora.
ArtBrazil Project has been progressively increasing its number of participants and visitors throughout the years. During the 2016 opening night at Artserve, they received over 1,200 people and during the month over 3,500 people visited the venue.
ArtBrazil is a platform for artists interested in gaining visibility in the American market. Beyond sales and good media visibility, the exhibition highlights the work of celebrated artists featuring installation works, photography, paintings, sculptures, and other forms of art incorporated in a modern, contemporary context.
Important components of the ArtBrazil Project are the Art Talk Symposiums, Social Change supporting causes that need a voice and fundraising, as well as Educational field trips gathering over 600 children from Dade and Broward Counties to meet the artists.
The exhibition is curated by Jade Matarazzo, also a photographer and visual artist.
