A Brazilian Ministry of Education programme received an award from Harvard University. The American University awarded the program “English Without Borders,” which promotes language teaching in Brazil and contributed to the advance of public policies. The Distinguished Humphrey Leadership Award was granted to the program coordinator, Denise Abreu e Lima, a continuing education course at Harvard.

“This award is an acknowledgment of our efforts and emphasizes that we are on track, building together a new reality for future generations in a reciprocity policy, which values languages and teaching work,” said Denise Abreu e Lima.
