The Brazilian public health system will offer the best HIV treatment in the world, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Brazilian Ministry of Health will provide the population an antiretroviral called Dolutegravir from next year on. By the end of 2017, around 100,000 HIV positive patients will get the treatment for free in the Brazilian public health system.

Aside from reaffirming the country’s role, of being in the forefront in relation to HIV eradication policies, incorporating Dolutegravir reinforces the Ministry of Health’s commitment to offer the best sustainable technology to people living with HIV.
